High Stakes Strategy Simulations
Strategy simulations allow students to apply their knowledge in environments where decisions, communication, and leadership are all put under the pressure of deadlines.
I run two types of simulations with universities. Some place students inside competing organisations, negotiating and responding to fast-moving events. Others place them inside government and public service roles, tackling complex policy challenges.
Both approaches develop the same core capabilities: decision-making, communication under scrutiny, and leadership in complex situations.
You can see examples of both below.
Power | Influence | Change
Power | Influence | Change is an immersive strategy simulation I co-founded that places students inside competing organisations operating in a complex global environment.
Teams must analyse intelligence, negotiate with other organisations, respond to media scrutiny and defend their strategy as events evolve. The experience mirrors the pressures of leadership in business, politics and international affairs.

The Public Leadership Lab
The Public Leadership Lab places students in the leadership roles of government departments and public service organisations tackling major societal challenges.
Working in teams, students must balance competing priorities, develop policy responses, and communicate their decisions through negotiations, media interviews, and presentations.
These experiences are often delivered as part of Grand Challenge or Impact programmes, where large cohorts work together on complex real-world problems.
